University Bordeaux Montaigne is committed through the HAL portal dedicated to the university, intended for the deposit and the dissemination of scientific articles of research level, published or not, emanating from the teaching and research institutions,  to fully accomplish the role of the university in disseminating scientific and technical information in a context of increasing interest in  opening up  knowledge on the Web;

  • to promote the national and international visibility of the publications of University Bordeaux Montaigne researchers through high-quality a referencing on the academic Web (Google Scholar, Baidu, BASE, ScanR...); the articles and references deposited on HAL are automatically harvested by these engines and scientific platforms ;

  • to promote the activities of its fifteen research units, highlighting the diversity and breadth of its disciplines in the humanities and social sciences as well as the complementarity and the convergence of the scientific focus of its research units.
