Bordeaux Montaigne University has always been a destination of choice for students from France’s overseas territories, and this tradition has now been extended to overseas students of all origins. Each year, there are approximately 120 different nationalities among students enrolled at the University.
- 2,500 foreign students among the 17,000 students enrolled at the University
- over 700 cooperation agreements across the globe (around 250 partner universities in Europe and over 150 outside Europe)
- 3 UNESCO chairs in sustainable development, emerging practices in technology and communication, and in non-violence, fostering development, implemented in cooperation with countries from the emerging world, in accordance with millennium goals defined by UNESCO.
