Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree

What is the Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degree?

An Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Course (EMJC) is a high-level integrated international study programme of 60, 90 or 120 ECTS credits, delivered by an international consortium of HEIs from different countries and, where appropriate, other teaching or non-teaching partners with specific expertise and interest in the fields of study covered by the joint programme.

Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Courses aim to :

- foster quality enhancement, innovation, excellence and internationalisation at the level of higher education institutions (HEI)
- enhance the quality and attractiveness of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) and support the EU's external action in the field of higher education by offering scholarships to the world's best masters students to prepare a full masters degree
- improve the skills and competences of Master's graduates and, in particular, the relevance of joint Master's degrees for the labour market, by further involving employers in the teaching community.

Since 2019, the University of Bordeaux Montaigne has been participating in one of the joint Masters projects funded by the European Union:
