It does not matter if you are a staff member or a teacher/professor in a higher education institution, Bordeaux Montaigne University is always happy to welcome international colleagues willing to take part in its activities and missions through several programmes, such the Erasmus+ STA (for teaching) or STT (for training) programme, a staff week or during a job-shadowing.
Apply for a teaching or a training mobility at Bordeaux Montaigne University.
The Erasmus+ Mobility activity called STA (Staff Teaching Assignment) allows the sharing of skills and disciplinary experience as well as the discovery of new methodologies by giving classes integrated into the partner institution’s program.
Teaching mobilities are only possible when a cooperation agreement already exists between your home institution and Bordeaux Montaigne University. In order to participate in an STA mobility, you first need to check with your International Relations Office at your home institution if Bordeaux Montaigne University is already one of their partners.
STA mobilities have a wide range of objectives:
Teachers can undertake educational missions in a European partner’s institution. The mobility period can vary between 2 and 5 days of work (travel days not included in this count) with at least 8 hours of teaching. You may be granted one travel day before and/or after your mobility. Please note: holidays and weekends are not taken into account unless they are worked or traveled.
International weeks, also known as Staff Week, are training weeks dedicated to administrative staff and teachers. Their aim is to promote exchanges between colleagues from European and non-European universities. Generally focusing on a specific topic, these weeks combine cultural activities, presentations and workshops. They promote the exchange of working methods and best practices, as well as the discovery of organisations, enabling staff to benefit from a week of training that enriches their organisational and practical knowledge and skills.
Bordeaux Montaigne University publishes its Staff Week on the IMOTION website every year. All procedures and formalities are listed there. The Bordeaux Montaigne University's International Staff Week takes place in June each year.
