Collaborative partnerships and student mobility

étudiantsUniversity Michel de Montaigne has always had a sustained and energetic international policy and it pioneered ECTS credits which allow the cross-validation of courses in European universities. Today it has 236 partner universities in over 60 countries and has teaching franchise arrangements in Djibouti and Madagascar.

The UNESCO chair is for the development of exchanges in teaching practice in the Euro Mediterranean area and within the framework of the Tempus Meda programme has set up a degree programme in local development in Morocco.

University Michel de Montaigne is an active member of the Francophone university network AUF (Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie) which 577 higher education and research institutions around the world.

A policy of mobility which is already well-established has served as a model for many institutions. Over 600 students on mobility programmes have already benefited from this opportunity.
