About the academic year 2020 - Bordeaux Montaigne University v1.2

About the academic year 2020

Bordeaux Montaigne University will welcome international students, faculty and staff in September 2020. Anyone residing in one of the Schengen member or associated states or one of the countries selected by the EU council on July 1 (see list at https://reopen.europa.eu/fr) will be able to come to Bordeaux Montaigne as of September 2020 to carry out their mobility as planned, whether they are part of an exchange programme (such as Erasmus +), individual students having applied for studying in France from their country of residence or migrants, whose training in the Nouvelle Aquitaine region is supervised by Bordeaux Montaigne University.

Our university has repeatedly put forward a clear preference for contact learning which naturally includes international students. Should the situation evolve, our online courses, however, together with the digital, hybrid solutions currently being developed for some of our programmes will be available to international students unable to join us in September.

Staying healthy is of course everyone’s priority and all safety requirements will be met when classes start in September.

The choice to keep an open door stems from Bordeaux Montaigne’s long tradition of welcoming and supporting international exchanges.
